Since my husband Fred and I made this pledge part of our lives, we have been so fortunate to meet amazing angels that have changed our lives with their strength and endless courage. As a COMMUNITY WARRIOR, you will have wonderful opportunities to improve the quality of life for so many individuals! There will be varied events each month in which you can participate. Always remember, donations come in many shapes and sizes! One goal in our mission of change is to convey the fact that everyone can help out in some way; Everyone has a smile to share! Together, we can make a difference in the lives of many, including our own!

From July 15 - October 15, various Lehigh Valley retailers will sell raffle tickets for a chance to win one of 10 Vespa LX 150 Limited Edition motor scooters. Not only are they pink, but the Vespas are emblazoned with the Get in Touch logo! The retailers will hold "GIT Your Pink On!" Days as part of the prize drawings (after October 15), and they've pledged to raise $10,000 for GIT!

Sweet & Sassy Promenade Shops is a VERY Special Place!
There was a tragic fire in Carbon County last November that changed a family of four forever. A courageous girl lost her her life saving her younger sister. Mom also died. The surviving daughter was treated for severe burns at LVHN with her grieving Father by her side the whole time. Applebee's was a great friend to this father and daughter while they were in Allentown. In fact, the manager called me and asked if there was something we could do to make this little girl feel special, even only for a couple hours. I immediately thought of CW Mita, owner of Sweet&Sassy, and called her! Without hesitation, she set up a day of pampering for Amanda, our young Warrior! She had a terrific time! Amy, Sweet& Sassy Asst Salon Mgr, took the best care of Amanda. Amy sent me the following msg after Amanda's Appt.."Amanda kept telling me that it was the best day of her life, that even when the facial was so hard that she couldn't stop smiling. She is an amazing 6 year old whose story changed the whole way I look at things. I tear up every time I think about it, because the first thing she told me after she picked out colors was that I couldn't paint her one pinky because her fire got her, but that she still wanted a pattern. Amanda is a strong girl, and the grandma asked if I accepted tips, I told her I normally do, but that having Amanda today was a tip all on its own. Thanks again for introducing her to S&S. And thank you Mita for allowing her to come in and get her complimentary service, Amanda had said she has never experienced such an "awesome" place."
3rd Annual Camelot for Children 5K was AWESOME! CW took home the prize for MOST SPIRITED TEAM! Jr Warrior Jackson won TOP PRIZE in his age group! Way to Go Jackson! Check him out wearing his prizes, Camelot hat and awareness bracelet!
